Stocking Stuffer Beauty Splurges and Steals

In my family, there is a famous story. The first Christmas after my parents got married, my Dad woke up and saw that my Mom had filled his stocking with elaborate, thoughtful gifts…..and he had a total of zero stocking gifts for her. My Dad panicked. He raced around the house and collected the best items he could find to fill her stocking before she woke up – some hard candy, an orange, a pen from his company, his business card, and the church program from the previous night’s Christmas Eve mass. My Mom was (supposedly) a good sport about it, and every year since, we put all of these items in my Mom’s stocking, along with some better stuff, of course.

Why am I telling you this long winded story? Because I just wanted to remind you that Christmas is for the kids, and your husband may not be out right now searching for many thoughtful items to put in your stocking on Christmas morning. Chances are – you’re doing more giving than receiving this December (and every December going forward). But where others see a stocking half empty, I see a stocking half full….of beauty products you’re going to buy for yourself and fill your stocking with because YOU DESERVE IT!!

So without further ado, here are my picks for the best stocking stuffer beauty products for Mom – if you’re looking splurge and if you’re looking to save.

Stocking Stuffer Beauty Splurges

NARS Blush in Orgasm – The best blush in the game remains a best seller for a reason. Give you skin this barely there light pink flush that works for day or night, all year round.

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask – My absolute favorite mask. Not only is it all natural and easy to apply and remove, but it’s gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin, and instantly adds glow.

Eve Lom Cleanser – A cult favorite from the UK, Eve Lom’s creamy, oil based cleanser is a decadent treat that leaves skin feeling incredibly soft and hydrated after each use.

Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum – If there is one product I’ve heard the most women say they saw truly improve their skin (and quickly), it’s this one. It’s pricey, but worth every penny if you’re looking to improve your skin tone, elasticity, and signs of aging.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray – Do your head a favor and invest in a bottle of this magic potion. If the smell alone doesn’t sell you on it, than the texture and volume it adds to your hair, along with clarifying dry shampoo properties, will do the trick.

Stocking Stuffer Beauty Steals

Lipstick Queen Frog Prince Lipstick – Before you get weirded out by the fact that it’s a green lipstick – please know that it glides on a PERFECT shade of pink. If nothing else, Frog Prince is an excellent conversation starter. More importantly, it’s a beautiful color, long lasting and hydrating.

Coastal Scents Revealed Palette – A small brand with heavy duty eye palettes. Coastal Scents flies off shelves because the price is excellent for how pretty and pigmented the colors are. A must buy for any budget-conscious makeup shopper.

Acure Organics Eye Cream – One of my favorite eyes creams on the market. It’s all natural, effective, and the best part is it’s SO inexpensive compared to some of its competitors.

Derma-E Anti-Wrinkle Scrub – If you don’t have a go-to exfoliant in your skincare lineup, this is an excellent one to try. Works with all skin types (even the most sensitive), is all-natural, and one of the only exfoliants on the market created specifically to target wrinkles.

Sailor by Captain Blankenship Sea Salt Refresh Spray – I freakin love Captain Blankenship, I’ve said it a million times. I was so excited when they launched the more affordable ‘Sailor’ line exclusively with Target. Captain Blankenship is famous for their hair Sea Salt Spray, and the Sailor version is as great as the original, for half the price.

Now that you have your ideas – run, don’t walk (or just…go online) and make sure Mom’s Christmas stocking feels just as heavy as Dad’s 😉

You could be sleeping through the night
next week.
